I'll keep this post short 'cause it's quite painful typing with two hands.. :/ (Yay I can finally do that now! ;P)

First of all a BIG thank you to everyone who smsed me, IMed me, 3Q for the hilarious cards, Josh and all the teachers who came down to the hospital. (: THANKS A LOT!!!!! :D

Came back home last Wednesday, but couldn't get around to posting.. The hospital's quite cool. Lol. The air-con and food and stuff. Quite nice. Anyway, took some pictures of my x-rays!

Reflection.
I've realized something.

I score better grades for subjects that I actually have an interest in. This might sound obvious to some people, but it took some time for me to realize that.

Take Maths and Geog for example.
I seriously enjoy doing Maths and I usually attempt to complete any Maths Supplementary Exercise as soon as I get it. I have an interest in it. My GPA in Maths? 4.0.

I won't say I enjoy doing Geog, but I find it extremely interesting. I mean, how can studying the very planet you are living on not be fascinating? Definitely my pick over Lit and History. I have an interest in it. My GPA in Geog? 4.0.

Now, for the other side of the story. Subjects (specially Sciences) such as Chemistry. I'm no Chem enthusiast. I have no particular interest in Chemistry. My GPA for Chem? Let's just say it's not that high.

This is only one such example, but I've found out this important secret (yet oh-so-simple) - Enjoy the subject you are doing, and you'll surely score high for it.

And from now on, I intend to like the subjects that I don't do that well in more. Whether I like it or not. (How ironic :/ )

My Funnest Day of the Year
LONG POST ALERT
If you start reading, you better read the whole thing. :D

Ok, this started out as a class thing. Soccer from 8-9 am. AND THEN ONLY 5 PPL FROM OUR CLASS CAME. Luckily there were 2M'08 ppl and other random NPCC people. (: So we played soccer until 11 am. (I reached school at 9, so I played from 9 to 11).

Then I borrowed a basketball from the Scouts Den. (Sec 4s were having some super sneaky camp discussion). Since Ding Hao refused to let me come up, he threw the ball down. Raph, Luo, Gao, Nick, Jelly and I played a random half court match. (Realized I wasn't as bad as I thought I was at basketball :D Scored a few times..)

Then after that we got tired, and then we went to the canteen to buy drinks from the vending machines and rest.. Gao and Nick went home to play Fifa or something.

Then Luo, Raph, Jelly and I went to Subway! Luo and I bought a drink each, Jelly bought a cookie, and Raph didn't buy anything 'cause today was Good Friday. o.0

Ok here comes the weird part. We sat in Subway for 1 hour ++ discussing religion and stuff. And the philosophy behind it. It was interesting though.. 8D

After that we went to LJS! And we actually had lunch. Luo and I bought the 2 pc Chicken Golden Deal, and Raph, again, didn't eat anything. Lunch was nice. And then we realized Irvin was coming, so we waited for him for about 1 hr sitting down in LJS telling random lame jokes and playing random games on my phone.

Irvin bought 2 pc Chicken Golden Deal. And while he was eating, we were vandalizing the black plastic plate things, and bursting the straws. :D
Luo apparently had this conspiracy theory that they reused those plates.. -.-

And we waited for another 45 mins / 1 hour waiting for the rain to stop. And we just talked. And talked. And talked.

We go back to school! We go to the piano at the ArtsSpace and make random noise / failed music. And get chased out of the ArtsSpace. ):
And the stupid lighting alarm system didn't stop going off, so we didn't dare to play basketball in case someone caught us.. ~.~

So we go to the area outside the hall! (The one above PopCafe) And we start playing a random mutation of Captain's ball (with 4 people). We were seriously bored. Haha.

And here I am now, at home, typing this, proudly saying I wasted the whole of today. Yet, it has been the funnest day of the year for me. :D

NIC + Skating

NIC WAS FUNNNNN! RI InfoComm Club completely owned the NIC (National InfoComm Competition).. Managed to beat HCI for first place (:
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the various competitions.
Oh and by the way.. It was held at Marina Barrage. So had to go there once again.

BUT IS WAS FUN. Raveen, as usual, was grabbing as much food as he could.. -.- And as usual, he caused trouble! (: (By throwing a tennis ball into the fountain/water area place at the Marina Barrage. The security guard, however, found it amusing..) And then there was this band performance.. They were really good, but I didn't manage to catch their name. ):
And at the end of everything, the shuttle bus took us to City Hall instead of Marina Bay.. :D How nice.

But anyway, NIC aside, today was my first skating lesson for CCA. Skating is quite fun, I guess. And I finally managed to move around without falling down! Not bad for a first lesson, eh? :D

Marina Barrage
Haven't posted for quite long. About a week I think..

Anyway, batch outing at Marina Barrage was awesome! (:
We really had a lot of fun together as a batch, and it was great to see that PY and AS were enjoying themselves and weren't disheartened after IAC.

The water there is super clean and bluish on one side and on the other side, it's murky and greenish.. This is the clean side btw..

This is the biiiiigggg grass field on top of the Marina Barrage building itself. And it's huggeeeeeee. And it has a wonderful view. Go there if you haven't already.. (:
