Crumpled.
Received NSW IT back today. I missed High Distinction by 2 marks. Can you believe that.
Oh, and talking about NSWIT,

Lesmana's certificate was nicely crumpled into a ball and left in the com lab. How interesting.

I play Big 2.5 on Viwawa too much! It's addictive ><. Some screenshots; (click to enlarge)

Look closely at the hand... All doubles?

You have been activated.

Watched Eagle Eye today. Excellent movie.
Now I think twice before posting anything here or putting anything on my Facebook.
Go watch it.
Now.

On a side note, Luo introduced me to Viwawa
(WHYYYYY!!! I played it for 2 hours straight (Big 2.5). Ohno.)
This is what my 'wawa' (equivalent of avatar) looks like:

Hehe. Looks cute.

Nothing else.
Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack. Slack.
Getting bored...

Lanlanlan
Just came back home from lanning! :D

This morning there was an InfoComm meeting in which we basically discussed the NorthLight (CIP Project) stuff and stuff about the EOY ICC camp... Then discussed a bit of SDMA with Hubert and Muhaimin.

After that had OBS health check up. Guess what. They ask you your name, then they ask you to squat, stand up and bend over. End of health check up. And the cost? $10. No offence to anyone reading this (whoever that might be), but the price really could be lowered.

Then went to lan at Paradiz with Lesmana, Gao, Wei Xuan, Zhi Yang, Edward and Edmund (hope I didn't miss anyone out, apart from the people who went to the other lan centre -.-). First we lanned Dota, but then i quit at Level 9(.5)  cuz everyone started quitting. Lol. Then started playing CS 1.6. One of the best games made in the world. The thrill, the gameplay, the graphics, they all rule. (BTW I'm not addicted. I hardly play it. Haha.)
TEAM FORTRESS COULDN'T WORK. AAARH. Was very pissed with the lan centre for that. But, not bad, for $1.50 an hour. Then ate at the McDonald's outside the lan centre.

Guess what. After that, Gao Ming, Edmund and I walked all the way from Dhoby Ghuat to Novena. xD. Then from Novena we took a bus to Toa Payoh interchange, and I took a bus home. Haha what a waste of time. But it was fun, and there's not much to do after EOYs anyway.

Took this while walking to Paradiz. :P. Sorry Kirk. Haha. Irvin put this on your blog!

Freedom :D
Finally.
Science was again, ok. Guess what! I was most afraid of the Chem portion and then my Chem portion went the best. Wow. The irony.

Nothing much happened today after Science EOY. Went to Subway to eat with Gao Ming and Marcus, then Gao Ming came to my house to play Halo. xD
Aaargh i hate the funny energy sword guy who keeps on anyhow slashing. (Campaign. Ignore if you don't get this.)

SLACKNESS HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN PEOPLE! Enjoy.

(Sorry AEP people, lol.)

Pork and Beans!
HAHA! This video is hilarious! It basically features a lot of YouTube memes and stars...
Pork and Beans - Weezer

This video might take some time to load though.

Here's a list of stuff featured in there, along with the lyrics:

They say i need some Rogaine to put in my hair.
Work it out at the gym to fit my underwear.
Oakley makes the shades to transform a tool,
You'd hate for the kids to think that you've lost your cool.

Imma do the things that I wanna do,
I ain't got a thing to prove to you.
I'll eat my candy with the pork and beans,
Excuse my manners if I make a scene.
I ain't gonna wear the clothes that you like,
I'm finally dandy with the me inside.
One look in the mirror and I'm tickled pink,
I don't give a hoot about what you think.

Everyone likes to dance to a happy song,
With a catchy chorus and beat so they can sing along.
Timbaland knows the way to reach the top of the charts,
Maybe if i work with him i can perfect the art.

No, I don't care.
I don't care.
I don't care, I don't care, I don't care, I don't care.

New Macbook!
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG.
Ok.
Enough of that.
New Macbook and Macbook Pros! And they look delicio0us. Lol.

Anyway, as for EOYs,
Geog was quite good. Hope I get 4.0.

History was ok except for the 1st part of the 1st question! (The picture one.) And luckily I studied for that essay question.

Maths was somewhere between easy and hard. The difficulty level ranged greatly from question to question. I think they should have kept it constant throughout.

1 more exam.

1 more lap to freedom.

Science. Ohno. That's all I can say.

On a side note, I was watching the Presidential Debates on YouTube.

Obama FTW

All Your Base Are Belong To Us (AYBABTU)
Sorry for the late post. Too busy trying to understand A-T-C-G.

English is over. Finally. I think I screwed up my comprehension, but I guess the lit essay went well. Geog, History and Maths in a row!

Geog next. Notes will be out in about 4 hours (by Irvin, of course! :P) But that's not to say I haven't started studying Geog (only a bit though).

AND I just realised! The RA website says that they only see the end of year results for the second window entry ( at first I thought they look at the overall results), so I still have a chance! My aim is to apply for one RA (I still don't know which one, probably the one I did best in for EOYs). So I'm still hoping for the best... and mugging hard...

Oh and by the way, the new MSN beta looks sweet! (click on the pic to make it bigger) Haha, sorry Irvin!

And, on yet another random note, look what I found!

In A.D. 2101
War was beginning.
Captain: What happen ?
Mechanic: Somebody set up us the bomb.
Operator: We get signal.
Captain: What !
Operator: Main screen turn on.
Captain: It's you !!
CATS: How are you gentlemen !!
CATS: All your base are belong to us.
CATS: You are on the way to destruction.
Captain: What you say !!
CATS: You have no chance to survive make your time.
CATS: Ha ha ha ha ....
Operator: Captain !! *
Captain: Take off every 'ZIG'!!
Captain: You know what you doing.
Captain: Move 'ZIG'.
Captain: For great justice.

An example of great  Engrish.

English EOY in two days. One clue I know about the comprehension (if my sources are not wrong, and I doubt they are). It's written by George Orwell. How vague. Wow.

List of works by George Orwell. So there's a possibility of 0.0172413793 % of the comprehension being any one of them.

Nothing interesting in school today (I have to stop saying that! o.o), except during Science when Lesmana attempted  to enlighten us on the process of intercourse. No explanations here, just use your imagination. The whole class was laughing for like what? 1 whole minute? Lol.

On a random note, I realised that above the field thing where you edit/write a new post, there's a link called 'Moderate Comments'. Now I'm beginning to freak out everytime I see the word 'moderate'. Help. (class joke/horror/angst/irritation/hate/suan)

So much for now. I should really stop posting nowadays.

4 Days to Annihilation
Life is boring. Nothing much (or rather new) today. Lesmana acting funny again. Proof below.

***Viewer Discretion Is Advised***

Oh, and he split his shorts while trying to jump over a table (trying to imitate Justin). Lol.

That's about all. Oh and by the way, my iTunes is acting funny. I can't sync my apps to my phone. NOOOOO. [[Mugging in progress.]]

Won't be posting much now. 4 more days.

I haz jailbroken my iPhone!

Ok, I've finally jailbroken my iPhone (3G, firmware 2.1, 5F136). Yay! Through all the forums/discussion threads I have read, I'm not sure why so many people say jailbreaking causes glitches and slows down your phone, and so on. I know this might sound weird, but jailbreaking my phone actually increased the speed (as well as the wlan speed). Don't ask me how, I have no idea myself. The process was really simple and in the end you get loads of new features and customization options as well as loads of free apps. I used a really simple tool called QuickPwn, made by the geniuses at the iPhone DevTeam. (They have both Windows and Mac versions.) If you want some advanced options you might want to look into Pwnage Tool, which is also by the iPhone DevTeam.

Success!

My jailbroken phone! See the carrier! (Singtel ==>Sudeep) And the dock can now support more than 3 icons.

The official 'downloader' for jailbroken iPhones. Here you can download stuff like apps, themes and so on. (This is the successor of Installer.app)

And now I can play Quake on my iPhone. How cool is that. (I just found out there are Halo patches to make the Quake engine run Halo. Gonna look into that soon :D.)

And now my Safari looks like Chrome. :P (I downloaded the Safari theme from Cydia.)

And then there's this cool app that lets you run your apps in the background. So for example you can listen to music while browsing the web on Safari.

All in all, with the advancement of the jailbreaking scene, more and more apps are coming under the light. We just have to wait and see what happens next. (I doubt anything serious will happen unless St3v3 J0bs decides to sue someone over this.) Great job DevTeam!

Edit:
Due to popular demand (not really popular, eh? gerard, look here!), I shall be posting up the definition of 'jailbreak' from Wikipedia.
jailbreak is the act or tool used to perform the act of breaking out of a chroot or jail in UNIX-like operating systems or bypassing digital rights management (DRM). In the former case, it allows the user to see files outside of the filesystem that the administrator intends to make available to the application or user in question. In the context of DRM, this allows the user to run arbitrarily defined code on DRM-encumbered devices as well as break out of chroot-like restrictions. DRM-encumbered devices such as the XboxiPhone and iPod Touch have repeatedly been subject to jailbreaks, allowing the execution of arbitrary code, but have had those jailbreaks disabled by vendor updates.[1][2] The iPod Touch/iPhone hacking community however, responds to the newest vendor updates by creating new ways to enable third party apps almost immediately. It was only in the wake of the popularity of the iPhone that the term jailbreaking became well known in popular culture worldwide.[citation needed]

Gotta Be Somebody [High Quality] - Nickelback

This time I wonder what it feels like
To find the one in this life
The one we all dream of
But dreams just aren't enough
So I´ll be waiting for the real thing.
I know it by the feeling.
The moment when we´re meeting
Will play out like a scene straight off the silver screen
So I`ll be holdin’ my breath
Right up to the end
Until that moment when
I find the one that I spend forever with

`Cause nobody wants to be the last one there.
'Cause everyone wants to feel like someone cares.
Someone to love with my life in their hands.
There`s gotta be somebody for me like that.

`Cause nobody wants to go it on their own
And everyone wants to know they´re not alone.
Somebody else that feels the same somewhere.
There`s gotta be somebody for me out there.

Tonight out on the street out in the moonlight
And damn it this feels too right
It´s just like Déjà Vu
Me standin’ here with you
So I´ll be holdin`my breath
Could this be the end?
Is it that moment when
I find the one that I spend forever with?

‘Cause nobody wants to be the last one there
'Cause everyone wants to feel like someone cares.
Someone to love with my life in their hands.
There´s gotta be somebody for me like that.

`Cause nobody wants to go it on their own
And everyone wants to know they´re not alone.
Is there somebody else that feels the same somewhere?
There`s gotta be somebody for me out there.

You can´t give up!
Lookin´ for that diamond in the rough
Because you never know when it shows up
Make sure you´re holdin` on
‘Cause it could be the one, the one you´re waiting on

‘Cause nobody wants to be the last one there.
'Cause everyone wants to feel like someone cares.
Someone to love with my life in their hands.
There has gotta be somebody for me
Ohhhhhh.

Nobody wants to go it on their own
And everyone wants to know they´re not alone.
Is there somebody else that feels the same somewhere?
There `s gotta be somebody for me out there.

Nobody wants to be the last one there
And everyone wants to feel like someone cares.
Is there somebody else that feels the same somewhere?
There has gotta be somebody for me out there.

Excellent song by Nickelback! Can't wait for their album.

RE Congress

RE Congress was ok, I guess, surely better than last year's one. But I didn't bother to get the 'RI Tee' thing (an incentive to complete the RE-SL Booklet thing, I must admit it was a pretty good idea, the Sec 1s were trying to finish the booklet as fast as they could) as much as I did for the 'RI Dangle' they had for the Congress last year. I didn't manage to get candy floss. Ohno. Anyway, as I said, this years' one was way better. We had a talk by Dr. William Tan (which was quite good), in which he talked about his life struggles, etc.

Then we had a 40 minute recess. Whoo. Could see Lesmana running for the canteen to get his food faster.

After that we had to sit in the Auditorium (my all time favourite assembly place) and listen to a few RE groups present their findings and process and so on throughout the whole year. I particularly liked the Destination Imagination performance and the business in school group (the Envite group) (I might be partial to the latter because they used Keynote. :D). The characters in the DI performance were hilarious! The Chinese accent guy and Shan Zhi acted really well (as well as the cross-dress guy who refused to reveal himself).

Then was some History extra class thing. Quite ok. Got the answers for the two questions we were supposed to do in the last last history extra class. And while I was furiously attempting to finish copying the essay from the screen, Edmund called me. Apparently he didn't know where it was. How clever.

History answers for the 'Agree' stand. See if you can zoom in. :P

Then I went with Lesmana and Edward to RJ for lunch, and you can guess what happened. As usual, he snatched my phone from me to play tap-tap.

What's with the face?

Tap-Tap!

Merchant of Venice : Drama Challenge
Yeah, I know this is kinda old, but then again, I don't have much to blog about...

I think the performance 2M put up was quite well done, and the only thing we didn't do well in was the oral defense (we all know who's fault that is, don't we?). Anyway, here are some parts of my extremely long (maybe too long) reflections...

The Merchant of Venice Drama Challenge has certainly been an enriching and enjoyable process and I have learnt greatly from the experience I have gained. It is quite hard to think of how else I could have achieved this invaluable experience of working as a class together, and overall coming up with a play.
...

In conclusion, I would like to say that the Merchant of Venice Drama Challenge has been beneficial to me greatly. It has increased my knowledge and understanding of Shakespeare better, taught me many skills such as team work, designing and painting, and brought me closer to my class.
I took a video during the play. Embedded below! :D Enjoy!

I'd better go sleep now... RE Congress tomorrow.

Hello World!
Ok, the same old boring "First Post!" thing.
Here it goes.

First Post!
Trying to start blogging again. I know, wrong time, EOYs a week away. Won't be able to post much for the first week. Still trying to get rid of glitches, so bear with me...
First Post!

That pretty much wraps everything up. So much for a "First Post!".
